Plastic Surgery Costs in Turkey
Choose your surgeon and hospital based on medical quality, not price alone. Here is what shapes the cost of treatment in Istanbul — and why we provide a personalised written quote rather than a price list.
What does pricing depend on?
The cost of surgery reflects the medical care involved. The main factors are:
- The procedure — and the specific technique your surgeon recommends
- The surgeon — training, experience and specialist focus
- The hospital — facilities, theatre, inpatient care and intensive care availability
- Anaesthesia — type and duration
- Complexity — your anatomy, previous surgery or revision
- Combined procedures — total operating time and safety considerations
- Hospital stay — day case or one or more nights
- Accommodation requirements — length of stay and type of accommodation
Why we do not publish fixed prices
A fixed price before a medical assessment is not meaningful. What looks like the same procedure can differ substantially between patients, and a quote that has not considered your health, anatomy and goals may change later — or may encourage a decision based on cost rather than suitability.
Instead, after your specialist assessment you receive a personalised written quote alongside your treatment plan.
Quality before price
Surgery that is promoted primarily on price may involve compromises that are not visible in advertising: shorter consultations, limited assessment, less experienced teams, facilities without full hospital support, or minimal aftercare. These can matter greatly if something does not go to plan.
We encourage every patient to compare surgeons and hospitals on training, experience with the specific procedure, hospital standards, safety protocols and aftercare — not price alone.
What your quote includes
Your written quote sets out what is included — typically surgeon and hospital fees, anaesthesia, the planned hospital stay, implants or garments where relevant and scheduled follow-up — as well as any coordination services you choose, such as transfers and accommodation. Anything not included is stated clearly.
Payment
Payment arrangements are explained in your plan before you travel. Please read the terms carefully, including what happens if your surgeon advises against surgery after your in-person consultation, or if your plans change.
Frequently asked questions
Why don’t you publish fixed prices?
Because a responsible price depends on a medical assessment. Two women asking about the same procedure may need very different operations, operating times and hospital stays. A personalised written quote follows your assessment.
Is plastic surgery cheaper in Turkey?
Overall costs in Turkey can differ from those in the UK, Europe, North America or the Gulf, partly due to differences in operating costs. However, price should never be the deciding factor. Choose your surgeon and hospital based on medical quality, not price alone.
What should a quote include?
A clear quote should list surgeon and hospital fees, anaesthesia, the hospital stay, garments or implants where relevant, planned follow-up, and any coordination services such as transfers and accommodation — and state clearly what is not included.
Are there additional costs to plan for?
Flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, a companion’s travel and any extended stay recommended by your surgeon may not be included. Ask what happens, and what costs may apply, if you need further treatment.
