Face & Profile
Facial Aesthetics in Istanbul
Facial aesthetic surgery aims to refresh, rebalance or restore features in a way that still looks like you. We help international women understand their options, meet independent specialist surgeons in Istanbul and plan recovery with care.

The face changes with time, genetics, sun exposure, weight change and hormonal shifts such as menopause. Skin loses elasticity, deeper supporting tissues descend and facial fat volume redistributes. Some women are also concerned with features they have had since adolescence, such as the shape of the nose, prominent ears or a less defined chin. Facial aesthetic surgery covers both rejuvenation and reshaping, and the right approach depends on anatomy, skin quality and personal goals rather than a single preferred technique.
Women's Health Istanbul is an independent patient coordination and health information platform, not a clinic. We help you prepare an online assessment, share photographs confidentially with independent licensed surgeons, and understand the proposed plan before you travel. An in-person examination in Istanbul always takes place before surgery is confirmed, and your surgeon may recommend a different or more conservative approach once they have examined you.
Depending on the surgeon and procedure, treatments may be performed at leading private hospitals in Istanbul, including LIV Hospital Vadistanbul, Memorial Bahçelievler and selected Acıbadem hospitals. Facial procedures generally involve a shorter stay in Istanbul than major body surgery, but swelling and bruising take time to settle and final results develop over months. Results vary between individuals. Choose your surgeon and hospital based on medical quality, not price alone.

Facial Aesthetics: questions
Which facial procedure is right for me?
This depends on what you would like to change and on your anatomy, skin quality and health. Many women arrive asking about one procedure and are advised that another, or a combination, would address their concern more effectively. An online assessment with photographs gives an initial view, and your surgeon confirms the plan after examining you in Istanbul.
How long should I stay in Istanbul after facial surgery?
Most women plan to stay around 7–10 days, which allows for the first review, suture removal where needed and early swelling to settle. More extensive procedures such as a facelift combined with other surgery may need longer. Your surgeon will advise on the timing for your specific plan.
When can I fly home after facial surgery?
Flying after facial surgery is usually possible within about a week, but your surgeon decides when it is appropriate for you, based on swelling, wound healing and your general health.
Can facial procedures be combined?
Procedures are often combined, for example a facelift with a neck lift, eyelid surgery or fat transfer. Combining can mean one anaesthetic and one recovery period, but it also lengthens operating time and may increase recovery and risk. Your surgeon and anaesthetist will advise on what is sensible for you.
What affects the cost of facial surgery in Turkey?
Cost depends on the surgeon, the hospital, the type of anaesthesia, the complexity of the procedure, whether procedures are combined, the length of hospital stay and accommodation. A personalised written quote follows your assessment. Choose your surgeon and hospital based on medical quality, not price alone.
Will the results look natural?
The aim of modern facial surgery is a natural, rested result that fits your features. Your surgeon can review consented before and after photographs with you during consultation so you can see their approach. Results vary between individuals.
